Konsert på Bankplassen
KEiiNOs highest value motto is "unity in diversity", and the Norwegian trio believes everyone should be allowed to dance colourful and free as The Northern Lights. Their mix of uplifting dancepop, folk and joik (traditional Sámi singing) has reached a broad audience beyond their nordic beginnings. The multi platinum-awarded trio have won 7 Scandipop-awards, made it to #1 on the Norwegian sales-charts, reached #2 on Spotify’s Gloabal Viral Chart and was nominated for the Norwegian Grammys in 2020.
Since their debut in 2019, KEiiNO has released 18 singles and a critically acclaimed debut-album. On OKTA, they collaborated with other indigenous artists around the world like Australian ARIA-nominees Electric Fields and Canadian throat-singer Charlotte Qamaniq. KEiiNO toured Europe and Australia in 2019, including major events like Madrid Pride, Stockholm Pride, Cologne Pride, Oslo Pride and sold-out shows in London, Melbourne and Sydney.
Before KEiiNO, Alexandra was DJ-star Alan Walker’s live singer and Fred toured with sami rap-duo Duolva Douttar. Tom Hugo had a solo-career in Norway and Germany and wrote hits for J/K-pop stars like XO, TVXQ and SHiNee. Although the three singers had some success as solo artists, their dreams were truly realised after joining forces - a force the Sámi (the indigenous people of Norway) believe you can find connecting with nature.
